A spot from a pile of monitors.

In June I spent a few days learning to make ads in Veo. One result is 31 seconds for SearchBooster: a figure in a gas mask digs through a mountain of dead monitors, because the store search cannot find the product.

The 31-second spot is published on the SearchBooster page on VK. It is embedded below. The picture was made in Veo; the experiment was in June 2026.

What is on screen

A figure in a dusty suit and a gas mask walks across a desert toward a mountain of dead monitors. Then they are up to their elbows in cables and keyboards, looking for one object in the scrap. The spot ends on a white card with the SearchBooster logo.

The Russian voiceover says:

Why is it so hard to find and buy something in these online stores? Why does their search keep returning the wrong thing? Your customers cannot find the products they need. Install smart search and recommendations from SearchBooster, and they will find what they need.

Why a dump

Bad catalog search feels like this. The products are on the site, and the shopper still digs through them by hand. SearchBooster is search with query understanding, plus merchandising, product recommendations and AI assistants.

The spot does not explain the platform. It shows the feeling the platform exists for: when search cannot find the product, the shopper is left digging through a dump.

A learning experiment

In June I spent a few days making ad spots in Veo. This is one of them. I am still learning how to make video with neural models. For me it is a way to see for myself where a model already holds a shot together.

Here the shot holds: desert, dust, a hill of CRT monitors, a close-up. People who saw the spot asked what it was made with. The picture raises the question of the tool. For a learning experiment that is an honest result, and it is enough to carry the product idea.

SearchBooster

SearchBooster is a smart search and personalization platform for online stores. I founded it and run it. It is a Sber500 accelerator alumnus and is listed in Russia's national software registry.

If search on a store makes shoppers dig through the catalog, look at how SearchBooster handles it: search, recommendations and merchandising in one system.
